This project involved the installation of air conditioning to a recently constructed 634m2 house and an update of the existing hot & cold-water services with minimal internal disruption.
The project also involved services supply to a separate building, constructed to create staff accommodation.
The works included:
We ran an initial feasibility study to review the practicality of installing air conditioning and updating the water supply to the property.
The plan involved running the refrigeration externally in an underground purpose-made cable duct. This was installed in a trench around the perimeter of the house. The pipework entered the house at low level through purpose-made architectural brick details. To minimise the internal impact of the air conditioning, we used chassis type fan coil units, fitted in bespoke joinery.
